Occupation Trends
Unemployment rates have been falling and are
currently at record lows, but many people in the
job market are still underemployed. We are just
very recently starting to see minimal (if any) rise
in salaries.
Going back to school to increase their skill level
may still be the key for many looking to make
progress in their career at a quicker pace.
In this section, we show you trends in jobs,
salaries, and employment rates and how things
like degree level, age, and tenure have an impact
on the student journey. Our occupation profiles
present some interesting findings on what careers
currently pay, who’s hiring, and what it takes to
earn particular salaries in particular occupations.
Long story short, having a college degree still
matters.
